Cuddlies

Two of my colleagues got a baby this week. For both of the babies I made a little cuddly animal. Cat and Rabbit of course, because that are the only examples we have around my house.

Swirly Cupcake

Just as a try out I made this little cupcake, after I saw a pattern for making the swirly cream on top. You can find that pattern here.

Crochet Hibiscus

One of my favourite flowers, that doesn't grow in my garden because the weather just isn't warm enough in the country I live in, is hibiscus. A couple of years ago I went to Hawaii and there are a lot of things I love about Hawaii, but hibiscus growing all around is certainly something to love!

I made a crochet version. By far not as good as the real ones, but nice enough to embellish my bathroom.

Crochet Unicorn

My youngest daughter loves My Little Pony and especially the unicorns. Some time ago I found a great pattern, so I could make here one.

Crochet Watermelon

Last week I shared a crochet pineapple, as one of the fruits I love when summer is coming. Only the fresh ones, of course. But my all time favorite is watermelon.

The combination watermelon, feta cheese and mint leaves makes the best summer salad in the world! Best winter salad, too, but in my corner of the world watermelon isn't widely available in wintertime.

Both my favourites together.

Crochet Ice Cones Tutorial

Both my daughters love ice cream and fortunately there's an ice cream bar just around the corner, where fresh ice cream is made the whole day through in every flavour you can imagine.

My own favorite is raspberry, but my daughters love melon and mango, so that's the flavours I made. If you want to make your own, here's a tutorial.

Cat with Hoodie

Maybe you remember that Bunny with Hoodie I made a couple of weeks ago. I made a cat version, too.

And here's the bunny once more:
